Jesus as our example set down the intent of life as Christian ministers: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (Matt 20:28)

The Apostle Paul reminds us of our duty as ministers: God... hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ... (2 Cor 5:18,20)

Paul also reminds us that our ministering should be done with: ...love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Gal 5:22 - 23)
