Gospel Community Church West Sayville NY  - Precept upon Precept Bible Studies

Precept Ministries is a ministry raised up by God for the sole purpose of establishing God’s people in God’s Word as that which produces reverence for Him.  It serves as an arm of the church without respect to denomination.  Jack and Kay Arthur founded the ministry in 1970.  Kay Arthur is the author of the workbooks used in these studies. It is based in Chattanooga, TN.

These Bible studies reach across denominational lines without in any way compromising the truths of God’s inerrant Word.  This ministry does not seek to impose upon others its personal doctrines, but rather to direct them to the Master Himself, who is able by His Spirit to lead and to guide them into all truth through systematic study of His Word.  Every lesson is a precious appointment with the Lord, to learn from Him directly.

The weekly meeting is two hours long.  The first hour is a discussion of the lesson that the students have completed at home during the week.  The second hour there is a teaching video that clarifies and reinforces the lesson.

Classes meet on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30 am, and Thursday evening from 7:30-9:30 pm in the fellowship hall. There is babysitting available for the morning class.

Contact Al or Ro Schlesinger at 589-1316 for more information and to register.  Visitors are always welcome.

My Father God

My Father is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, He has been with me even before my birth

He guides me through everyday life

And helps me deal with situations of strife

He fills me with joy and helps me to see that the world is a better place with me
